Raleigh police ask help identifying bank robber

Police have asked the public to help them find a bank robber who held up a State Employees Credit Union branch on Jan. 20.

The man gave a teller a note saying he was robbing the branch at 4050 Poole Road. He walked out of the bank after the teller complied with his demands, police said, but they did not disclose what those were.

The man wore a camouflage hat with a Cleveland Cavaliers logo, sunglasses, a long-sleeved white T-shirt, blue jeans and white sneakers. He is about 5-foot-8 and believed to be in his 20s.

A photo from a bank surveillance camera shows the man’s head and torso.
