Police are still searching for two men who robbed the AIB Sweepstakes parlor last month, but they charged a woman early Friday with robbing the business at gunpoint Thursday night.
Officers took Shannon Camica Dunn, 35, into custody at her apartment at 108 E. Jones St. about 3:45 a.m. and charged her with robbery with a dangerous weapon in the 11:20 p.m. stickup, arrest records showed.
An arrest warrant accused Dunn of having a pistol and taking $3,359 from the business at 2416 Crabtree Blvd.
Police were searching for a second person in the robbery, they said, and Dunn was accused of conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon.
She was being held on $100,000 bail and was scheduled for a first court appearance Friday.
AIB Sweepstakes was robbed on Jan. 15 in one of a series of holdups at parlors in Raleigh and Garner.
On Jan. 22, Raleigh police charged Ephraim D’Carus Smith, 34, of Raleigh with armed robbery two days earlier at the Good Luck Sweepstakes at 3308 Capital Blvd.
