North Carolina ALE agents arrested a restaurant manager Wednesday, charging that she had sold cocaine to an undercover agent at the Archibald Leslie Tavern.
Arrest warrants charged Carrie Lynn Black, 36, with three misdemeanor counts of selling a controlled substance in a place licensed to sell alcohol.
The Alcohol Law Enforcement agents, who arrested Black at her 414 Raleigh St. home, also charged her with three counts each of possession cocaine with intent to sell or deliver it and of selling or delivering cocaine. Those charges are felonies.
The warrants said that Black had sold a gram of cocaine to the undercover agent on Nov. 3, Nov. 17 and Dec. 1 while she was on duty managing the tavern.
Black’s bail was set at $90,000 pending a first court appearance Thursday.
