A woman was shot in the face early Monday shortly after midnight, but her injuries don’t appear life threatening, police said.
About 12:42 a.m., Durham police responded to the 300 block of Junction Road and found a woman shot in the face. She was conscious and alert.
No information is available about any suspects or the circumstances of the shooting, Durham police spokesman Wil Glenn said. The identity and current condition of the victim also were not released.
