Police on Thursday night stopped a 20-year-old Granville County man at a Capital Boulevard intersection and charged him with heroin trafficking, saying he had at least an ounce of the drug.
According to the charges, Salvador Isaiah Brown of Garner Terrace Way had more than 28 grams of the drug. That quantity is the threshold for the state’s most serious heroin-trafficking charge. Any more than that is covered, and police did not specify how much heroin was involved.
According to arrest records, police took Brown into custody at Capital Boulevard and Appliance Court about 11:30 p.m.
A Wake County magistrate set Brown’s bail at $500,000.Brown’s address carries a Wake Forest mailing address but is in Granville County.
