One man from eastern North Carolina held up the same East Millbrook Road sweepstakes parlor in Raleigh, NC, twice and another man was in one one heist, according to arrest warrants sworn out by police who arrested them Monday at a Wake Forest Road hotel.

Terry Lavell Ingram, 35, of Elizabeth City and Christopher Omar Hinton, 32, of Kill Devil Hills, were at the Days Inn hotel when police took them into custody late in the afternoon.

Hinton is accused of accused of robbing Above the Line Sweepstakes shop on April 7 and April 23. Ingram is accused in the second holdup.

Police said an undetermined amount of cash was taken each time.

Police filed multiple charges against both men in the incidents.

Hinton is accused of two counts of armed robbery on April 7 – one for the store and one for a man whose iPhone 7 was taken.

For April 23, Hinton is charged with two robbery counts for the business and a man’s cell phone, two counts of second-degree kidnapping involving people in the business, conspiring with Ingram for both of the armed robbery counts and gun possession by a felon.

Police also accused Hinton of having a gun with the serial number filed off and having prescription pills and cocaine when he was arrested.

Ingram is accused of the same charges as Hinton for the April 23 incident and for when they were arrested Monday.

A magistrate set Hinton’s bail at $775,000. Ingram was held without bail because of a gun being involved in an earlier conviction.
