Police arrested a 22-year-old woman Wednesday on felony charges, including theft of a gun, in connection with a string of break-ins to cars outside homes in neighborhoods off Garrett Road on the city's west side.
Police had said they were looking for Ladarriea Torrielle King, who lives in Durham, on charges of felony breaking or entering, felony conspiracy and larceny after the Monday-morning break-ins.
The crimes were reported in neighborhoods east and west of Garrett Road a short distance north of Jordan High School.
King was being held at the Durham County Detention Center in lieu of $175,000 bail.
The charges against her were 22 counts of breaking or entering a motor vehicle, 22 counts of felony conspiracy, five counts of misdemeanor larceny, three counts of financial-card theft, one count of larceny of a firearm and one count of felony larceny.
