Wake County sheriff’s investigators have accused a 69-year-old man of sex offenses against two teenage girls over a seven-year period from 2008 through 2014.
Arrest warrants accused Andrew Joseph Fouquette of Safari Drive, a Garner address in the eastern part of the county, of two counts of statutory rape/sex offense and two counts of taking indecent liberties for each of the girls.
The warrants, obtained Tuesday, said the activities went on between New Year’s Day 2008 and the start of 2015.
Fouquette turned himself in Wednesday at the Wake County Detention Center on Hammond Road.
A magistrate set his bail at $2.1 million. He was held pending a first court appearance.
