Police charged a man with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, cocaine and heroin and with keeping three loaded handguns unsecured in an apartment with his toddler.
Naeem Askia-Derric Branch, 34, had the drugs and guns at 201 Ashton Place, according to arrest warrants. Police took him into custody Friday evening on S.W. Maynard Road, records showed.
Branch is accused of possessing with intent to distribute 2.5 pounds of marijuana, 20.2 grams of cocaine and 3.2 grams of heroin.
Warrants also charge him with maintaining the apartment as a place to keep drugs and possession by a felon of two 9 mm and one .45-caliber handguns. Felons cannot have guns, and Branch was convicted of cocaine possession in 2002 in Forsyth County, police charged.
