Shooting on Dana Drive in Raleigh is now homicide after victim’s death

A man found shot Friday evening on Dana Drive in Raleigh has died, and the case has been turned over to homicide detectives, police said Tuesday night.

Jorge Salas-Ramos, 34, was found wounded when police answered a call about someone being shot about 7:15 p.m., police said.

He was found in the 5200 block of Dana Drive, where several apartment buildings are located.
