A 30-year-old Raleigh man was being held on $1 million bail Thursday after Raleigh police arrested him on two counts of first-degree sex offense with a young girl last year.
Tony Eugene Barrett Jr. was arrested at his 1834 Vintage Road home late Wednesday morning, records showed.
An arrest warrant charged that the incidents happened June 16 and Aug. 22, 2014, and involved a child under 13 years old.
A victim’s being less than 13 years old is one of the conditions that qualifies sexual offense as first degree.
