Police seek suspect in bank robbery

Police are investigating a bank robbery Saturday afternoon on Falls of Neuse Road north of Interstate 540.

A man entered a SunTrust bank at 13341 Falls of Neuse Road about 12:50 p.m. and handed a teller a note demanding money, according to a news release from Raleigh police. The man fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police describe the suspect as a white man, 5-foot-5 to 5-foot-8, wearing his hair in a long pony tail.
