A Durham woman was held on $200,000 bail Wednesday after Raleigh police charged her with armed robbery in a 4 a.m. stick-up in a parking lot in an industrial area of the city in early July.
Detectives had been looking for Bernice Mendoza Zepeda, 38, for a few weeks. They swore out a warrant for her arrest on Aug. 27.
Zepeda, who was booked with an address of 2402 Otis St., was charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy to commit that offense.
Those are the same charges on which police arrested Miguel Angel Aguilar-Diaz, 25, on Sept. 2. He is being held on $75,000 bail.
Police said the charges stem from a man saying he was robbed of $3,000 in cash, a phone and his identification in a parking lot at 4200 Atlantic Ave. The crime happened July 5, police said.
