A Wake County man was charged Saturday with driving a motorcycle at 92 mph in a 35 mph zone on South Arendell Avenue near Zebulon while fleeing sheriff’s deputies.
Joshua Kent Phillips, 24, was arrested at his residence at 1612 Colston Crossing, a Zebulon address west of the town, about 5:30 p.m., records show.
Sheriff Donnie Harrison said Phillips was one of two men whom deputies were pursuing for speeding.
Deputies charged Phillips with felony fleeing to elude arrest, reckless driving with wanton disregard for safety and speeding.

He was held in lieu of $10,000 bail for a court appearance Monday.
Harrison said the investigation was continuing Monday, and deputies were looking for the other rider.
