Police try to ID suspect in four armed robberies

Raleigh police say a thin, 5-foot-5, Hispanic man wearing this hoodie with a stripe down the back is a suspect in four armed robberies at businesses last month, and they hope the public can give them leads that will help detectives find him.

The same short, thin man armed with a handgun is responsible for nighttime holdups at a convenience store and three hotels last month, police believe.

Detectives are asking the public for help in putting a name to the man or at least finding him, the department said in a statement.

The suspect was described as Hispanic, about 5-foot-5 and thin. He has worn a blue hoodie with the hood pulled up and a white stripe down the back, a surveillance photo showed.

The robberies in which police suspect the man were:

April 17 at Little Sue’s Mini Mart, 430 Buck Jones Road, at 11:06 p.m.

April 20 at a Days Inn, 6619 Glenwood Ave., at 8:35 p.m.

April 27 at a Comfort Suites, 1309 Corporate Parkway, at 10:41 p.m.

April 29 at a Super 8, 2501 S. Saunders St., at 8:51 p.m.
