Two men were arrested Tuesday evening on charges that they robbed three hotels and tried to rob a convenience store last month.

Ari Dimitrius Everett, 21, who police said had no permanent address, and Kristopher Devonte Stewart, 25, of 539 E. Davie St. were taken into custody at Western Boulevard and Kent Road, arrest records showed.

Arrest warrants charged each man with three counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon, one count of attempted robbery and four counts of felony conspiracy.

Everett also was charged with illegal gun possession because he has a felony record. Police said he had a .38-caliber handgun that had been displayed in the robberies.

Police had asked for the public’s help in finding a man seen wearing a blue hoodie at each incident.

Everett and Stewart are accused of holding up a Days Inn at 6619 Glenwood Ave. on April 20, a Super 8 at 2501 S. Saunders St. on April 29, and a Comfort Suites at 1309 Corporate Parkway on April 27.

Arrest warrants describe an incident at Little Sue’s Mini Mart at 430 Buck Jones Road on April 17 as an attempted robbery.

Both men were being held without bail for Wednesday court appearances.
