Parents plead for permanent armed officer at elementary school
Kaitlin Atkin and other parents at Jones Dairy Elementary School in Wake Forest asked the Wake County school board on Oct. 2, 2018 to provide a permanent armed officer on campus after a man was arrested on charges of threatening to shoot students.
