The N.C. Museum of History hosted a statewide History Day contest April 29 with 453 high school and middle school students participating. This year’s theme was “Taking a Stand in History,” and students presented in 18 categories.

Triangle students who earned top placement and qualified to attend the national competition at the University of Maryland in June are Lucy Grossmann and Angelica Dinh from Research Triangle High School in Durham County and Meaghan Keith and Grace Mallo from Wake Forest Middle School in Wake County.
