Two Raleigh students awarded Duke scholarship

Ten incoming first-year students from North and South Carolina have been awarded the Benjamin N. Duke Memorial Scholarship at Duke University, which covers full tuition, room, board and mandatory fees for eight semesters at Duke. The full value of each scholarship is estimated to be more than $260,000 over four years.

Triangle students in the Class of 2021 are:

▪ Alexandra Merz of Raleigh, a graduate of Enloe Magnet High School and daughter of Patricia Merz and Robert Merz

▪ Heeya Sen of Raleigh, a graduate of Enloe Magnet High School and daughter of Ananya Sen and Kaushik Sen.
