Two area boys have attained the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest achievement in Boy Scouting.
▪ Wesley Rochelle of Raleigh designed and led a team of volunteers to build a serenity seating wall at Good Hope Baptist Church in Knightdale. Wesley was inspired by the courageous life and death of a 16-year-old church member who lost his battle to Multiple Sclerosis.
Wesley is a member of Troop 366 and the son of son of Jennifer Jones Rochelle and the late Butch Rochelle.
Wesley, a Broughton High graduate, plans to attend High Point University.
▪ Stuart Eckart Scheil of Cary led a team of scouts in the construction and installation of two wooden park benches for the West Raleigh Exchange Club located at the West Raleigh Baseball Complex.
Stuart, who has earned 25 merit badges, is the son of Ronda and John Scheil.
He is in Troop 205. Stuart is the son of Ronda and John Scheil and a member of Troop 205.
