Three students won the Chatham County Schools regional science fair and will compete in the state science fair in April.
Shane Conroy, a 7th-grader at presented his project on “Oxidation Observations.” Shane lives in Siler City and is the son of Kathleen Conroy and Nathan Conroy.
Christopher Esther’s project was called “A Growing Danger: The Physics of Falling Trees.” He is in the eighth grade at Margaret B. Pollard Middle School. Christopher is the son of Charles and Julie Esther of Chapel Hill.
Tanner Henson, a senior at Chatham Central High School, did a project on “Driving Safely.” His parents are Johnny and Tami Henson and he lives in Asheboro.
