Dylan Dodson, a junior at Rolesville High School, was presented with the academic achievement award from the Kappa Charitable Trust of Raleigh Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity.
The Kappa Scholars program recognizes 11th-grade black students who have maintained a 3.0 or better GPA.
Dylan plans to attend N.C. State University or UNC-Charlotte to study Architecture and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). He's president of Wake County 4-H GIS club and a member of the Architecture RTPExplores program and his school’s tennis team. He is the son of Darren and Judy Dodson.
