Correction: Did not list initially that Rogers is the interim principal.
The Wake County school board named Kristana Rogers on Tuesday to be the interim principal of the East Wake School of Health Science in Wendell.
Rogers, who has been the school’s assistant principal since 2008, will start her new position on Dec. 13. She will lead one of the four small themed schools that make up East Wake High School for the rest of the school year.
Rogers replaces Carter Hillman, who was recently named principal of Garner High School.
