Raleigh Charter ranked among top US public high schools

Raleigh Charter High School was ranked one of the top high schools in the country, No. 2 in North Carolina and the best in the Triangle on Niche’s “2017 Best Public High Schools in America” list.

Raleigh Charter was the only Triangle school to crack Niche’s recently released national top 100 schools list at No. 78. Raleigh Charter regularly makes various lists of the nation’s top high schools.

The only North Carolina school to rank ahead of Raleigh Charter on the real estate website’s list was the Early College at Guilford, which was ranked 64th nationally.

According to Niche.com, the site evaluated 18,000 U.S. public high schools using data such as test scores, graduation rates, culture and diversity, teacher data and student and parent reviews.

Several other Triangle schools made Niche’s top North Carolina high schools list, including East Chapel Hill High at No. 3, Carrboro High at No. 4, Green Hope High in Cary at No. 5, Panther Creek High in Cary at No. 7, Durham School of the Arts at No. 10; Chapel Hill High at No. 11 and Enloe High in Raleigh at No. 13.
