For the low cost of $2,017 you can buy one of Wake County’s newest high schools with 1,003 freshmen and sophomores tossed in for free.
An ad posted Wednesday on Craigslist said that the recently built Holly Springs High School was on sale for $2,017 – freshmen and sophomores included. The prank listing warns “serious buyers only” should contact principal Brian Pittman.
The price is a steal considering that the property has an assessed value of $91 million.
The senior prank drew chuckles and tweets on Twitter.

Holly Springs High School took the ad in good stride, asking the Wake County school system’s Twitter account “if we get a good offer do you want to split it?”
Wake replied back on Twitter with the rolling on the floor laughing emoji.
