The district’s 26 high school valedictorians will be honored at Tuesday’s Wake County school board meeting.
Each valedictorian will be recognized and given a plaque. There will be plenty of picture taking as well at the board meeting.
Ten valedictorians will go to UNC-Chapel Hill. Five will go to N.C. State University. Two will go to Duke University.
The other nine valedictorians are going to a wide range of universities to continue their studies, including Cornell, Harvard, Johns Hopkins and Wake Forest.
