The Wake County school system’s Class of 2015 earned $101,4 million in scholarship dollars that will help the 9,850 high school seniors continue their education in college.
Seniors at Enloe High School in Raleigh led the way with $15.4 million in scholarship dollars, or 15 percent of the county total. Next were Millbrook High School in Raleigh at $14.1 million, Leesville Road High School in Raleigh at $10 million, Broughton High School in Raleigh at $8.9 million and Green Hope High School in Cary at $7.8 million.
With the bulk of the school system’s graduations taking place between June 6-9, Wake has put up a webpage with facts on each school and tips for people attending the ceremonies.
