Attorney General Roy Cooper’s latest TV ad is out Tuesday morning and in it he tries to claim the lead in commitment to education -- a dominant theme in his campaign to unseat Republican Gov. Pat McCrory.
Cooper talks about his mother, who was proud to be a public school teacher in North Carolina. He contrasts that with what he says has been the diminishment of educators under Republican rule.
