Ex-Hagan campaign aide moves to national job

Sadie Weiner, who was the chief spokeswoman for Kay Hagan's unsuccessful re-election campaign for U.S. Senate last year, has landed a new job.

She will become national press secretary for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee. CQ Roll Call reported the hire Tuesday morning.

Weiner worked in Hagan's Washington office before becoming communications director for her campaign. She also worked on Sen. Sherrod Brown's 2012 election in Ohio and Sen. Patty Murray's 2010 re-election in Washington State.
