The N.C. Democratic Party has hired a new executive director as chairwoman Patsy Keever fills her leadership team.
Kimberly Reynolds will start running the party’s operations next week. She has served as chief of staff for House Minority Leader Larry Hall and Lt. Gov. Walter Dalton.
Reynolds is a Greensboro native and N.C. State graduate who was the party’s Senate caucus director in 2006. She replaces Casey Mann, who stepped down in February when Randy Voller’s term as chairman ended.
“Kimberly has unique experience both managing winning campaigns and working with many great North Carolina leaders,” Keever said in a statement issued Thursday. “And as a Guilford County native, Kimberly shares our passion for getting North Carolina back on track. She will be a wonderful addition to our team.”

Since Mann’s departure, Doug Wilson and Tiffany Reynolds-Richardson have served as a “transition team” filling the leadership void while Keever recruited a new director.
