State Auditor Beth Wood announced Monday she’s running for re-election to a third term.
The Democrat has a reputation for big audits and for staying on the good side of the Republican-controlled legislature.
“I possess the credentials and experience that have resulted in the identification of hundreds of millions of dollars of inefficient spending over the past six years under my leadership,” she said in a statement. “I promise to continue to be undeterred in our effort to be respected by the taxpayers and government leaders.”
