Newpoint fired teachers at three Florida schools this week, according to the News Journal. The local school board had decided earlier this year to terminate the charters for two of those schools.
N.C. Sen. Fletcher Hartsell, a Concord Republican, said in a recent interview that he is working with Newpoint as a consultant.
