U.S. Rep. David Price announced Wednesday the selection of his new chief of staff: Asher Hildebrand.
He replaces Jean-Louise Beard, who retired after working for the North Carolina Democrat since 1988, and as his chief of staff since 2001. She is a Raleigh native.
“Jean-Louise has been an essential member of my team since my earliest days of service,” Price said in a statement his office released. “She has provided invaluable counsel on matters of policy and politics, effective leadership of my congressional staff, and tireless service to the people of North Carolina.”
Hildebrand has worked for price since 2003, and has held a variety of senior positions, including legislative director and district director, according to the statement.
