Two North Carolina based lobbyists are linking up with a North Carolina native who now runs a public policy and lobbying firm based in Washington, D.C.

Lobbyists Theresa Kostrzewa and Lisa Martin of Raleigh-based Capitol Advantage Associates are now affiliated with Prime Policy Group, whose chairman is North Carolina native Charlie Black.

Black is a top Republican consultant, and was an adviser to President Ronald Reagan and President George H.W. Bush. He had a significant role in John McCain’s 2008 campaign.

Black said in a news release that the partnership “allows us to grow and strengthen both the state and federal services that our firms offer to clients who have business interests in North Carolina or are looking to expand there.”
