Two N.C. residents will be speaking today in Philadelphia for the final night of the Democratic National Convention.
The Rev. William Barber, president of the state NAACP, and Dave Wils, an eighth grade social studies teacher at the Academy at Lincoln in Greensboro, will speak sometime between 6-10 p.m.
Wils has more than $35,000 in student debt and will likely address educational issues. Later in the night, Barber will talk about inclusivity in the United States.
