Hillary Clinton weighs in on HB2, voter ID law and early voting
UPDATED Hillary Clinton will appear in Raleigh on Sunday for a discussion of criminal justice reforms with the mothers of victims of violent confrontations with police and gun violence, calling themselves the Mothers of the Movement.
The time and place for the Raleigh stop have not been announced. The mothers are also scheduled to appear in Durham at 3 p.m. to visit the campaign field office on West Main Street.
On Saturday, the mothers are scheduled to appear in Winston-Salem at 3:45 p.m. in Corpening Plaza.
The mothers are Sybrina Fulton, the mother of Trayvon Martin; Lucia McBath, the mother of Jordan Davis; Gwen Carr, the mother of Eric Garner; Geneva Reed-Veal, the mother of Sandra Bland and Maria Hamilton, the mother of Dontre Hamilton.
Clinton is scheduled to appear at UNC-Charlotte at 5:30 p.m. Sunday.
