Summer-like heat in the Triangle tied the record high temperature at Raleigh-Durham International Airport on Saturday, and it should be just as warm again today.
The temperature topped out at 92 at RDU, tying a record for the date set in 1960, according to the National Weather Service office in Raleigh. Forecasters say sunny skies and warm air will remain over the region until about mid-week, when thunderstorms are expected to cool things down a bit.
The normal high temperature for this time of year is 74 degrees.
