Windy and cooler days will lead the way for another night of below-freezing temperatures Saturday night, the National Weather Service said.
Showers on Thursday morning could create wind gusts up to 29 mph in spots, forecasters said.
Starting in late afternoon, showers could occur and bring wind gusts in the 23-mph range.
Friday, forecasters predicted winds of 7 to 11 mph with possible gusts of 20 mph.
Saturday was expected to bring 8 mph to 13 mph wind in the morning and 16 mph to 21 mph wind in the afternoon and gusts of 30 mph or more.
The unsettled forecast is the result of an approaching cold front that forecasters said can push temperatures into the upper 20s overnight Saturday.
The forecast for lower and lower daytime high temperatures gives a picture of the cold air coming in: 70 on Thursday, 61 on Friday and 52 on Saturday.
Sunday should start a climb back up, with a forecast high of 56 degrees. Monday’s and Tuesday’s forecasts call for readings in the low 70s.
