I want to commend you on your Nov. 18 editorial “ Obama rebound” for its more accurate description of President’s Obama extremely successful record.
He handled the Ebola crisis well when many hot-headed opponents wanted to close our borders to our doctors helping these affected nations. He handled the crisis of Central American children crossing our borders with compassion and fairness. Also, he contained ISIS with airstrikes, minimizing American casualties, and sent troops to train Iraqi forces so we don’t have to be there 100 years.
In addition, he significantly cut our yearly deficit, produced sustained economic growth, cut unemployment in half, doubled the value of the stock market, made a way for millions of people to have health insurance (yes, ACA is working) and kept inflation down.
There is one thing I disagree with in your editorial. Obama is not on the rebound. He has been one of our greatest presidents, and history will affirm that.
