Regarding John Drescher’s April 11 column “Why we cut MLB box scores from print paper”: I disagree with some of Drescher’s reasoning for cutting baseball box scores from the print paper.
I do not enjoy the commentary that appears to be the replacement for the box scores. I would rather form my own opinions from the box scores.
I also note that the space occupied by the commentary could accommodate many MLB box scores.
I did not subscribe to The News & Observer only to be told that I need to go online to find information that I consider an essential part of the story of a MLB game. If I need to go online, why subscribe in the first place?
Please return the MLB box scores to print paper.
