It's no secret that Marvin Bagley III is one of the best freshmen in Duke basketball history.

On Friday night against Syracuse in an NCAA tournament round of 16 game, Bagley set a new Duke freshman scoring record.

He came into the game needing 14 points to tie Jabari Parker's freshman record of 670 points set in the 2013-14 season.

Midway through the second half, Bagley scored his 15th point to pass Parker's ouput.

Bagley finished with 22 points and seven rebounds.
