Cody and Caleb Martin will continue their college basketball careers at Nevada.

The Martin twins, who played the past two seasons at N.C. State, will go from the Wolfpack to the Wolf Pack.

The Mocksville natives will have to sit out the 2016-17 season but will have two years of eligibility.

Caleb Martin averaged 11.5 points and 4.7 rebounds last season. Cody Martin was second on the team with 2.3 assists per game and averaged 6.0 points and 4.4 rebounds.

With guards Dennis Smith and Torin Dorn coming in, and Terry Henderson recovering from an ankle injury, the Martins’ minutes would have been affected next season.

Caleb averaged 30.5 minutes per game and Cody 25.8 last season. Cody started the final 16 games of the season and Caleb had 19 starts. They started together in the ACC tournament loss to Duke, N.C. State’s last game of the season.
