N.C. State’s 78-68 win over Boston College moved the Wolfpack into the No. 7 seed in the ACC tournament.
The Wolfpack (9-9 ACC) needed help from Syracuse, which beat Florida State on Sunday, but it will play at 7 p.m. on Thursday at the ACC tournament against the winner of Miami and Virginia Tech.
Duke's 93-81 win over North Carolina clinched the No. 3 spot for the Blue Devils and the Tar Heels will be the No. 4 seed.
Virginia (1) and Syracuse (2), the other two top seeds, won't have to play in Greensboro until Friday.

The bottom six teams, which were locked in by Miami's 69-56 win over Wake Forest on Saturday, will kickoff the tournament with three games on Wednesday at the Greensboro Coliseum.
Duke will play in the late game on Friday night at the Greensboro Coliseum. The Tar Heels will play at 2:30 p.m. on Friday.
