Player of the week: Ti Pinnix of Pittsboro Northwood completed 32 of 41 passes for 201 yards and four touchdowns and rushed for 127 yards and a score in a 56-14 victory over Carrboro.
Play of the week: Kendall Hinton’s mad 30-yard dash through the Scotland County defense for the deciding score in a 34-28 victory. Hinton, who seemingly could be the player of the week every week, passed for 272 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for 93 yards and the winning score.
Defenders: Panther Creek held Durham Jordan to a minus-29 rushing yards in a 41-0 victory.
Logan Washle, Cardinal Gibbons: Completed 21 of 31 passes for 228 yards and three touchdowns in a 19-12 victory over Broughton. Earl Gill had 10 catches for 110 yards.
Marcus Marshall, Millbrook: Ran for 229 yards and three scores in a 46-7 win against Northern Durham. Wildcats quarterback Reid Herring passed for 174 yards and two scores.
Damontay Rhem, East Wake: Rushed for 226 yards and two touchdowns in a 34-29 win against Heritage.
Howard Watson, Corinth Holders: Ran for 206 yards and a touchdown in a 61-27 victory over Bunn.
Trai Sharp, Carrboro: Rushed for 146 yards in a 56-14 loss to Pittsboro Northwood.
Devin Harris, South Johnston: Scored three touchdowns and totaled 238 all-purpose yards in a 42-28 win against Red Springs.
Nehemiah Harris, Holly Springs: Rushed for 155 yards in a 17-7 victory over Sanderson.

Andre Williams, West Johnston: Completed 11 of 18 passes for 250 yards and three touchdowns in a 31-27 win against Fuquay-Varina.
Nyheim Hines, Garner: Ran 51 yards for a touchdown, caught a 65-yard scoring pass and returned a punt 55 yards for a touchdown on his first three touches during a 48-0 win against Cary. Also rushed for another score.
Blake Walters, Heritage: Passed for 178 yards and three touchdowns in a 34-29 loss to East Wake.
