I was fascinated to learn: There is an ongoing medical trial at Duke where the polio virus is inserted into patients’ brain tumor who have glioblastoma in order to cure them.

Most inspiring teacher: Rhonda Greenup, English III & IV. She pushes me to work hard and supports me in everything I do.

A book that has had an impact on my life: “Heaven Is for Real” by Todd Burpo and Lynn Vincent. It explains the Christian experiences of a young child and expresses that God is real.

Its hard to believe we used to: Get out of the chair to cut the television on instead of using a remote.

The world’s biggest problem is: People’s inability to take responsibility for their own actions.

My favorite charity: North Carolina Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Who epitomizes what a good American should be: Those who serve our country and fight for our freedoms.

Ideal guest list: Michael Jordan, John F. Kennedy, Princess Diana.

Something I enjoy that might surprise people: I enjoy fishing.

I wish I had been there for: The very first women’s softball game.
