College: UNC-Chapel Hill

Favorite course: AP Biology

World’s biggest problem: Widespread hunger

I was fascinated to learn: The varying situations in the countries we studied in AP Comparative Government

Most inspiring teacher: Christoph Stutts, my AP Comparative Government. His charismatic style and passion about his subject makes everyone interested in what they’re learning.

Impactful book: “Brave New World” by Aldous Huxley made me realize that the passions, flaws and feelings we have are what make us human. Without difficulty, happiness isn’t appreciated and can sometimes only be achieved artificially.

It is hard to believe we used to: segregate people based on race in our recent history.

My favorite charity is: Habitat for Humanity

Is there life on another planet? Yes

Best movie: “Forrest Gump”

Whose life inspires you: Steve Irwin

Ideal guest list: Morgan Freeman, Jennifer Lawrence and Lionel Messi

Something you enjoy that would surprise people: Playing video games

I wish I had been there for: the 1999 Women’s World Cup.
