Matchup to Watch
Giannis Antetokounmpo vs. Michael Kidd-Gilchrist. Hornets coach Steve Clifford thought Saturday’s victory against the Utah Jazz was Kidd-Gilchrist’s best game. He did a terrific job guarding Gordon Hayward. Antetokounmpo presents a size problem; he’s an extremely athletic 6-foot-11.
• Since Nov. 18 the Bucks have averaged 103.8 points per game, second-highest scoring team in the Eastern Conference (behind Toronto’s 108.7).
• The Bucks’ defense has been particularly good in home games, holding opponents to 43.8 percent shooting at the Bradley Center.
• Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova is expected to play after missing time with a nasal fracture.
• The Hornets again expect to be without Lance Stephenson (pelvic sprain).
