Kemba Walker vs. Russell Westbrook: Walker is on a roll in the Hornets’ four-game winning streak, averaging 23.8 points on 50 percent shooting from the field. Westbrook had a 40-point game in a home loss Tuesday to the Portland Trail Blazers.

• During the current winning streak, the Hornets are averaging 107.7 points on 47 percent shooting and giving up 90 points on 42 percent shooting.



• Thunder star Kevin Durant was ruled out for the Christmas Day game in San Antonio. That was the fourth game in a row he missed with a sprained right ankle. Oklahoma City entered Thursday with a 6-14 record when Durant doesn’t play this season.
