Matchup to Watch

Bismack Biyombo vs. Nikola Vucevic: Vucevic is averaging a double-double plus more than a block per game. That’s the sort of efficiency at both ends the Bobcats would love to get from Biyombo.

• Thanks to the All-Star break, this is the Bobcats’ first game since Wednesday in Indianapolis. They melted down in the second half against the Pacers with some horrible shooting.

• The Bobcats won their last game in Orlando, overcoming a back injury that shelved Gerald Henderson in the second half.

• The Bobcats convened in Orlando on Monday night for a late practice.

• Magic forward Hedo Turkoglu was recently suspended by the NBA after he tested positive for steroid use.

• The Magic lost power forward Glen Davis to a broken leg.

Did you know?

Orlando rookie Moe Harkless played for Bobcats coach Mike Dunlap at St. John’s. Dunlap got on the Bobcats’ radar when president of basketball operations Rod Higgins attended several Red Storm practices to scout Harkless.
