Canes set prospects camp roster, schedule

The Carolina Hurricanes on Thursday announced the roster and schedule for the 2015 prospects development camp, which will be held next week at PNC Arena.

Eight of Carolina’s nine selections in the 2015 NHL Draft, including first-round draft pick Noah Hanifin and second-round selection Sebastian Aho, will make first appearances in Raleigh as members of the Hurricanes organization.

Other prospects attending the camp include Haydn Fleury (2014, first round), Brett Pesce (2013, third round), Roland McKeown (acquired from the Los Angeles Kings via trade), Rasmus Tirronen (free agent signing) and Sergey Tolchinsky (free agent signing).

The evening on-ice sessions will be open to fans on July 7, July 8 and July 10. All three sessions begin at 5:30 p.m.

The Summerfest Celebration begins Saturday at 10 a.m. at PNC Arena. The event features the camp’s final on-ice session, an autograph session, an equipment sale and a State of the Hurricanes discussion.
